MOGOLLON MONSTER MUDDA & GLADIATOR CHALLENGE – June 20, 2020

Race Swag

Walk away from the Mogollon Monster Mudda with a sense of pride, accomplishment, caked on mud, and cool stuff!

Included in every adult registration is: 1 unisex tee shirt (pictured in the middle), 1 unique race medal, 1 commemorative race BIB, and an official race bag full of goodies.

Every participant has the option to upgrade their shirt option to a men’s or women’s tank for an additional $4. please make your selection when registering.

Kidz Swag

Nobody loves the Mogollon Monster Mudda more than the kids do! Each kid participant will receive: 1 kidz unisex tee, 1 commemorative race id, and a unique race medal.

NO DAY OF EVENT REGISTRATION THIS YEAR!!

What you can expect:

• Online registration has been EXTENDED through June 7
• No onsite registration will be accepted, only pre-registered participants will be able to participate (pre-registered participant is one who has registered on or prior to June 7)
• Pre-race packet pickup is available, more details below

  • Vendors and the Beer & Wine Garden will not be on-site; this DOES NOT promote or encourage individuals to bring their own alcoholic beverages! NO ALOCHOL will permitted onsite during this event.
  • Race participants ONLY! With the exception of parent and/or guardian accompanying racers 18 years or younger.  No Spectators.
  • If you have experienced any of the following COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of the race, please do not participate (cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell).
  • Obstacles will be modified to eliminate congregation of runners on the course. Submersion obstacles and high-risk obstacles will be modified.  Do not worry though, we will still 35+ obstacles, and the race length will remain the same!
    • Specialty Heat participants must complete all obstacles in order to be eligible for prizes.
    • General Heat participants may pass or go around any obstacle.
  • Baggage Claim will be available onsite.
  • Shower areas will still be available.
  • No onsite registration, pre-registered participants only. Pre-registration end on June 7.
  • Water stations will be available throughout the course.

PACKET PICK-UP (PRE RACE DAY):
We have extended the opportunity for racers to collect their packets prior to race day.
Thursday, June 18: 7am-11am; 4pm-7pm | Payson Multi-Event Center
Friday, June 19: 7am-11am; 4pm-7pm | Payson Multi-Event Center
Saturday, June 20: Packet pick-up specified with modified times per heat.
This year packet pick-up will be sorted by heat! Even though your race time changed, your heat did not!
Know what heat you are registered for (i.e. General Heat 5, Teen Elite Male, Elite Female, General Heat 12, etc.)

PACKET PICK-UP TICKET:
Your TICKET to pick up your packet is the COVID WAIVER – in order to pick up your packet, you must have a completed COVID WAIVER to submit. Please download and complete prior to your arrival at packet pickup.
All participants are required to complete and return prior to participating.
All minors need to have their parent and/or guardian complete the COVID WAIVER.

CAN I PICK UP SOMEONE ELSE’S PACKET:
In order to pick up someone else’s packet, you must have a completed COVID WAIVER from that runner to submit at packet pickup and know what heat they are registered for.

DAY OF REGISTRATION:
Registrations will not be accepted after the June 7 pre-registration deadline, no exceptions!

HEAT TIMES:
Heat times have been modified to specify arrival to the venue, onsite packet pickup time frame, corral time, corral assignment, and race start time.
With these new times, if you would like to transfer to an early heat, with spot available, you may do so by emailing [email protected] by June 7. Specify your current heat time, and your requested transfer heat.

TRANSFERS:
With the new modified heat start times, if you would like to transfer to another heat, you may do so until June 7. Contact the Parks, Recreation & Tourism Office via email at [email protected] by June 7. Specify your current heat time, and your requested transfer heat.
Transfers will only be allowed to heats that currently are not sold out, and to heats the participant qualifies for (specialty heats).
Registrations cannot be transferred to other individuals!
NOTE: Kids participating in the Kidz Mudda will still need to race with their current age, no transfers.

CORRALS:
Designated corrals (aka waiting areas) are outlined for each heat to ensure each heat is ready upon start time, and to encourage physical distancing.

RESULTS & AWARDS:
Race results will not be posted onsite. Race results can be viewed throughout the day via Facebook at Adventure Payson. After the race is completed race results can be viewed online, as well, at
www.paysonrimcountry.com/mudda  &  www.ceptiming.com/recent-results/
Facebook Live Awards Ceremony will take place at 3:00pm on June 20 (race day) for all specialty divisions. Prize money will be mailed to you via the address on file with your registration.

How do I get my packet?
All packet pick is up scheduled at the Payson Multi Event Center: 1400 S. Beeline Hwy, Payson, AZ 85541
Pickup times:
Friday, June 19, 2020 | 3:00pm- 7:00pm (Mogollon Monster Mudda & Kidz)
Saturday, June 20, 2020 | 5:30am- 11:00am (Mogollon Monster Mudda) / 5:30am 12:40pm (Kidz Mudda)
**Can I pick up someone else’s packet: Yes, ONLY if the participants packet you are picking up does not have to sign any documents or owes payment!
**Leftover packets can be picked up in person at the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism office for one week following the event. Packets will not be mailed.
Where can I find the race results?
Race timing will be done by CEP Timing.
Timing chips are MYLAPS Multi Sport Disposable Chips, which are in the form of an ankle strap. The ankle strap number will act as your bib.
The disposable chips are to be worn by each entrant to ensure proper timing.
Chips must be securely wrapped around the ankle. DO NOT duct tape over the strap number to avoid interference with the chip “Chip Timed” race means your time will begin when you cross the start line; not total heat start time.
Race results will be on site at the finish line, posted on paysonrimcountry.com/mudda, and www.ceptiming.com
CEP Timing results are final.
If a chip timer malfunctions, time may not be recorded for that individual.
Can my friends come and watch?
THIS Year Only – NO SPECTATORS.
Can my family/ business/ gym/ group run together?
Absolutely! Just be sure to register in the same heat. Once a heat is full, we do not allow any additional participants. Participants MUST be 12+ to participate in the adult heats, and no exceptions will be allowed.
Where do I park?
Parking will be available at the Payson Multi Event Center at no charge, but space is limited. Overflow parking at the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino.
*Arrive early to ensure adequate parking!
