The run and bike course are open to vehicle and participant traffic, and will be monitored by police and course marshals. All participants must keep to the right side of the lane. All bikers must be off the course by 9:00 am.
Entry Fees:
Individual – $70 thru July 29 — $80 from July 30 – August 1
Relay Teams – $135 thru July 29 — $145 from July 30 – August 8
Individuals:
You must be 16 years old or older to enter this event.
Individual Male and Female age groups:
(16-19) (20-24) (25-29) (30-34) (35-39) (40-44) (45-49) (50-54) (55-59) (60-64) (65-69) (70+)
Athena: Female (150lbs + ) Clydesdale: Male (210lbs + )
Teams:
Men’s, Women’s, and Coed.
Teams must consist of 3 competitors.
No age groups for teams divisions.
Packet Pick Up:
Friday, August 11, 2017
12:00 noon to 7:00 pm Mandatory Race Packet Pick Up
Location: The Genoveva Chavez Community Center Community Room, 3221 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico or from 3:00 pm – 8 pm at Sports Systems in Albuquerque, NM 6915 Montgomery Blvd. (505) 837-9400.
Notes: There will be no packet pack up on race day. You must bring a valid photo ID with you to race packet pick up. You will receive three numbers at packet pick up. The numbered sticker must be on the front of your bike helmet. The bib must be worn on the front of your body during the entire run portion of the event. Body marking will take place on race morning prior to the start in an area located in the community room.
Saturday, August 12, 2016 (RACE DAY)
5:00 am to 6:00am Athlete Check-in, Body Marking, Bike Rack, Timing Chips
All participants will be required to check in and receive their timing chip on race day. The timing chip distribution will be numbered on the face and the chips will correspond to the participants bib number. The participant must show their bib number to get the same numbered timing chips. The chip will have a velcro ankle strap and must be secured to the LEFT ankle. Teams must transfer the chip from one member to the next member. The chip will be collected by volunteers at the finish line, participants who do not return chips will be charged $80.
6:20 am Transition Area Closes – No exceptions!
6:30 am Triathlon Start – both individual and Team Runs
10:30 am Awards Ceremony
IMPORTANT NOTES
- The event is limited to the first 300 Individual and 30 Relay teams.
- Bib numbers are not transferable
- Race registration closes on Wednesday, August 8, 2017
- Packet Pick up is Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center, 37221 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM
- There is no race day registration or packet pick up
- There are no refunds
