Join us in San Luis, Arizona, for the inaugural San Luis Triathlon and Duathlon. This event is combined with The Someteron Tower Triathlon to form the Southwest Triathlon Series.

Great sprint triathlon and duathlon for those new to the sport.

Fast flat course.
Ages 12 and over.
Individual and relay categories.

Sprint triathlon (distances subject to adjustment as we work with the town for permitting): 300 meter pool swim, 12.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

Pool swim, serpentine style. 15 second staggered start.
Bike ride is an out and back on a flat, protected course.
Run is through the CIty of Somerton.
Duathlon (distances subject to adjustment as we work with the town for permitting): 1.5 mile run, 12.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

Yuma Bike Club and the town od San Luis are promoting this event to provide local athletes a venue to compete and to raise funds for the youth of the Yuma Athletics to compete in regional events.

Cost for triathlon or duathlon:
– $45 for Men and Women age 12-15 until September 23; $55 after September 23
– $70 for Men and Women age 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ until September 23; $80 after September 23
– $85 for Relays Female, Male, Mixed (2-3 participants per team) until September 23; $95 after September 23

Event schedule and times
– online registration closes Thursday 09/27 at 11:59 PM (AZ time)
– race day registration and packet pick up at the San Luis pool on Saturday 09/29 between 5:00am and will close at 5:30am
– event start at 6:00 AM (transition area will close at 5:45am)
